Hail Goddess Sun!

They're back! The dynamic duo of Nadia and Sahit set us up with a new collaborative story, inspired by spring! Nadia's lines are in purple and Sahit's are in red. Check out their hopeful lines!

Something yellow poked through the sky.

The maple tree quivered in surprise.

The pines whispered words of wonder to each other

Blades of grass looked up.

New lady has come to town! Who could she be?

Her hair shimmers so much that it's hard to look at.

Her eyes pour out beams that sparkle.

Ribbons in the blue sky change the season.

Tulips open and breathe in spring.

Butterflies take flight.

The lady smiles down on them all.

It's her return to the world.

Hail goddess sun!

The author points to letters to spell her poetry.

Nadia asks the world to presume competence of all nonspeaking autistics and to use respectful language when you talk about people who type instead of speak.

Sahit oh so rapidly spells his thoughts and finds beauty in having a voice.
