This hands-on workshop is designed for educators, therapists, and caregivers working with individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or other multimodal communication approaches.
Join Miranda Cobo, a trained Orton-Gillingham instructor for this 6 part workshop series. Orton-Gillingham offers a structured literacy approach and multimodal strategy focused on phonics. Miranda blends elements of Orton Gillingham's training with strategies specific to nonspeaking / minimally speaking learners using text-based AAC.
