50 minute Coaching / Tutoring Session

Service Description

A one-on-one, 50-minute session that can be used for either communication coaching or academic tutoring, depending on your family's needs. For communication coaching, sessions focus on helping parents and communication partners strengthen how they support a nonspeaking or partially speaking learner. We'll work on practical strategies for modeling, prompting, scaffolding communication activities, responsive communication, and creating authentic opportunities for your learner to participate and be heard. For academic tutoring, sessions provide direct, individualized instruction in a specific subject area using accessible, adapted materials aligned to grade-level standards. This is not simplified or watered-down content. Your student will engage with meaningful instruction designed around their learning profile, with the support they need to access it fully. Tutoring is provided by experienced teachers, many of whom hold current or past state teaching certifications. Please specify which type of session you are looking for when completing your registration form. Session focus can be adjusted over time as your family's needs evolve.
