Little Learners is an in-person summer program designed for students ages 5–10, offering a highly supportive, small-group learning environment that prioritizes communication access, connection, and meaningful participation.
This program is ideal for younger students who benefit from structured support, responsive teaching, and communication-centered learning in an inclusive setting.

Program Overview
Little Learners supports young students through developmentally appropriate learning experiences that build communication, engagement, and shared participation.
Students engage in:

The focus is not on “readiness,” compliance, or performance. The focus is on access, belonging, purposeful motor skills, and growth.
Group size is capped at 4 students, allowing for individualized support and a calm, connected group environment.
How the Program Works
Ages: 5 - 10
Format: In-person, small group
Group Size: Capped at 4 students
Location: Gaithersburg
Structure: Summer-only, 4-day intensive
This small-group model allows staff to support participation in real time, respond to student needs, and help learners engage meaningfully with peers.

Communication Partner Requirement
A parent-provided communication partner is required.
This ensures each student has consistent support to access communication and participate meaningfully throughout the program.
Communication partners are supported throughout the program — coaching is embedded naturally within sessions.
