Join state-certified English teacher Corie Ford on Wednesdays at 5:00pm Eastern for a journey through Ido Kedar's novel In Two Worlds. (Publishers Weekly BookLife Prize 2018 Quarter Finalist) The novel will be broken into six parts (pre-assigned chapters for each week so you can read at your own pace throughout the week).
In class, you will have a chance to discuss the plot, the author's writing style, the historical context, and make connections to other texts outside of the novel. This course requires reading outside of class and will center more open-ended discussions related to the reading during live class sessions. This class is suitable for students who can keep up with the assigned reading and participate in open-ended discussions.
All classes will be recorded for optional asynchronous viewing if live participation is not possible for a particular student.
